McDonald's

McDonald’s set out to update outdated perceptions of its food quality. With a campaign that used media as old as their outdated views.

To launch the campaign, we hijacked the biggest TV moments of the year by bringing back Teletext, a much-loved part of British culture that hadn’t been seen since the 90’s.

The stunt got the whole of Britain talking and was covered by every national newspaper and major media outlet.

A flat lay of newspapers and magazine clippings, including a newspaper titled "The Times" with a main headline about the 1990s and a McDonald's advertisement featuring a smiling young man holding a large burger. There are smaller clippings promoting McDonald's menu items like free range eggs and British and Irish beef, along with colorful patterns and promotional text.
